George Wurtzel The Carpenter

To say George is amazing is really an understatement.  George, who we have filmed at Camp Tuhsmeheta, a camp for the blind children, allowed us the opportunity to step into his personal world of woodworking.  This skilled craft and occupation is something he has been doing for over thirty years.

When you try to explain that you’re going to film a guy who is a hard working carpenter, and is totally blind, you really get some very strange looks; most obvious question: “how can he use a saw?” Simple answer: very carefully.

As usual, my time spent with George was special and inspiring.

He is just one hell of a guy!
